Component Text Signs
BS ISO 3864-1, specifies that a combination sign be used only to further improve comprehension of the sign. This is to ensure that occupants are left with more information rather than confusion. There are many occasions where it is appropriate to install JALITE component text signs, to provide occupants, trained personnel, visitors, and emergency services with as much information as possible. JALITE photoluminescent component text signs includes the use of stand alone number signs that can be used alongside stairway signs or assembly point signs. In large buildings there may be more than one stairway that evacuees can use to escape or emergency services can use to access the building. Hence installing JALITE component text signs that read ‘stairway B’ for example is vital. Our signs allow emergency services to quickly identify and locate themselves in the building in reference to a possible emergency incident. Thus, reducing the possible risk of harm, injury or death for them and all evacuees. Installing JALITE photoluminescent component text sign allows this to be done in all lighting conditions.
